40-Man Royal Rumble Not Liked?

One WWE source feels the Royal Rumble match expanding from 30 to 40 men is not a good idea. "When you have 30 guys who are not over and you add ten more guys, it isn't special," the source said. "It's like adding vanilla to vanilla."

translation: my chance of actually winning just went down.

I see his point, but I don't like his analogy. I like vanilla, I'll quite happily add more.

Back on topic, I have my reservations of a 40 man Rumble, because WW3 in WCW had 20 men in each ring and that was pretty crowded in the individual rings. The 30 man Rumble sometimes had around 15 people in the ring at any one time. With 40 people I fear the ring would be even more crowded.

I hope all 40 men are in the ring at the end. And like my friend said, the ring will break and they all fall out. Then we have a Fatal 41 way at Wrestlemania!

If the source feels any better, the Rumble is still going to suck regardless.
