Report: CMLL Superstar Mistico Signs WWE Deal?

With World Wrestling Entertainment adding more cultered and diverse style wrestlers to their developmental territory recently including Alex Kozlov (Peter Orlov), Tyler Black (Seth Rollins), Hijo de Medico Asesino and more, one name that World Wrestling Entertainment have been chasing for a few years, may have eventually signed a deal with “The Worldwide Leader in Sports Entertainment.”

The front cover of today’s SuperLuchas’ magazine features Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) superstar Mistico, a Mexican superstar, who is said to have signed a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.

WWE have been chasing to sign Mistico since 2007, but due to his commitments with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), he rejected offers everytime.

According to various online reports, Mistico has beeen looking to leave Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) since late last year, having seen the success of former CMLL superstar Dos Caras Jr, now under the name of Alberto del Rio in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Mistico is expected to link up with World Wrestling Entertainment shortly, where he will spend time in WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling.

The only reason he is going to WWE is about money.

Of course haha, isn't it always the money?

I heard both companies for Major Wrestling been doing bad in Mexico that only the top talent was getting paid at times and sometimes they were getting less money then was promised. Mistico is one of the major talents down here and was one getting paid. It seems to me like he doing what many done before him who were in ECW and he wants paid constantly and even if he is fired by wwe and don't do much he can get more money per apperance in Mexico just from being in WWE.

Love the lucha libre style of wrestling so looking forward to seeing what this guy can do.
