| Ok since there has been discussions on and off about the whole “Michelle McCool” situation, I guess I’ll do a non-biased review (if you think it’s biased, then well whatever, this is as non-biased as I get) It's also really long doubt ANYONE will read it, but i hope some people do make the effort. I do bring up some valid facts that have been presented to us in the past.
To be honest, the Michelle McCool is a mixture of both her in ring ability as well as her connections with Undertaker. Ok let’s forget she’s a great in ring performer for 5 minutes and look back at the past.
The list goes as followed: Gail Kim, Candice Michelle and most recently Natalya. WWE has a tendency to cut the cord really quick when it comes to failed pushes. Example 1: Gail Kim, Gail Kim debuted and won the Women’s Championship, she then had a series of pretty bad matches in a row, with a few botches and I think 3 weeks later she lost the championship and she was lost in the shuffle pushed to the back and released a little over a year later.
Example 2: Candice Michelle, despite going over strong heels like Melina, Jillian and then Victoria. Nothing helped her get over, she had no momentum and was burying any diva who stepped in her path. ESPECIALLY Melina who was made to look like a fool and I don’t even like Melina. Candice wasn’t over and the fact that she was still a shitty wrestler didn’t help. She got injured and you’d think she would get the whole OMG she’s back treatment and THAT failed, after no one cared when she came back and no one cared, she was also pushed in the background and a last minute match was made at Armageddon because Candice couldn’t wrestle or get over.
Example 3: Natalya, It is pretty clear WWE has given up on her. Her reign has been a huge lump of fail and I don’t know what they were expecting but seemingly she’s not up to standarts to what they want and they are putting an end too it.
Now in the past WWE has pushed and Supported both Maria and Ashley, and as horrible as these girls may be in the ring, the crowd supported them and WWE continued to push them. So keep in mind, these girls are horrible wrestlers with crowd support. So we know what WWE wants at this point and that is a girl who CAN make the crowd care, even Kelly got used so much because of it.
Ok part 1 is explained not part 2, let’s forget that Michelle is married to The Undertaker for 5 minutes.
Michelle McCool made a return as a failed heel taking on Ashley and Jillian along side Kristal. When plans changed for Kristal, Michelle got tossed with two guys and they did nothing other then feud with Ashley and Londrick. Londrick and Ashley super over and yet Michelle and her boys failed. And tbh, this role was too much for michelle, she was absolutely horrible on the mic back then. She had a random face turn and had a fued with the most over heel in the company at that time which was Jillian. Keep in mind, she had promo’s of her 5 weeks prior every week about being “The All American Girl”. Even with her eventual debut and promo’s highlighting this, she still wasn’t over.
Then she went over Jillian and even won the Bikini Battle Royal over Candice Michelle who was in an actual Championship fued for a photoshoot that…never happened btw. Even with all this added exposure, nothing, they even made sure she entered the ring after Jillian in EVERY divas battle royal..but even after a Loud chorus of boo’s she couldn’t be cheered for. Soo at this point, she’s Gail Kim, they would have tossed any other girl aside to this point….but with Michelle, Failed attempt number 2 was not enough to toss her aside….YET.
Then they tossed her on Chuck’s arm, now don’t get me wrong he’s not the biggest of name...but they got to have a lengthy feud with Kenny and Victoria. And again, Michelle couldn’t get over, then again don’t blame anyone, chuck was so un interested at this point.
Now, IMO what should have been the highlight of her career, and trust me any other diva would have pulled it off, she managed not to. The whole Chuck-Michelle-Jamie Noble storyline was pretty intense and brutal. It was basicly the Mike Knoxx-Kelly-Balls Mahony storylinejust WAY more in dept and intense and the crowd cared for Kelly after she got caned to the head. Michelle got accidently hit by Chuck, she was stretchered out, she was constantly pushed left and right and she even tried crying and begging Chuck for mercy to leave Jamie alone and guess what, the fans didn’t give a rat’s ass. This was MAJOR EPIC FAIL, because seeing as this storyline has been build for almost 6 months and lots of thought and dedication was put into it…it still failed on Michelle’s part. I mean chuck got over as a heel, Michelle, the fans didn’t even care. FAIL Number 5……not even Mickie James would have gotten THIS much chances or Trish if they managed to fail soooo many times.
Maria was the ONLY diva to make the fans care about Michelle a little and it took 3 years for this to happen and in those 3 years Michelle was pushed as the main diva on Smackdown despite being an epic fail time after time again.
Now don’t get me wrong if this was any other diva they would have given up at FAIL number 3. But because of her ties with Taker, they continued to persist and try on and on again.
Don’t get me wrong at this point they are happy she managed to be a good wrestler and a success…BUT she wouldn’t have gotten here if she didn’t have the backing of Undertaker, she doesn’t need him now but I’m sure in those 3 years he did have something to do with her career being a success.
Sooo in conclusion her hard work and dedication DID manage to keep her permanent spot in the company…but if it wasn’t for the backing of Undertaker, they would have given up on her 3 years ago. And THAT’s how I see it now tbh.

| Hey I like La Eve ok lol
TBH if Michelle was wrestling like Maria, she would have gotten pushed but never been champion soo many times, she could have done shit and enjoy the free pass, but she has worked hard....but the end result came after lots and lots of trying. I think no other diva had that opportunity.
So yeah, they all might be saying now "Thank god the undertaker forced us to continue to use her"....if that wasn't the case....she would ahve been as relevant as Gail Kim, Natalya and Alicia Fox

| COmpletely agree with everything you've said. Undeniably a good worker and thank god for that, else her overpushing would have been even more hard to bear. There is no doubt her marriage to Taker has played a part in all the chances she's been given. If you compare her to Trish, Lita , even Mickie, she is way behind them in terms of popularity. | |

| You still got to find the gap really where her and Undertaker started to date and when he was divorced.
To take in account how many times she would of actually been pushed by the undertaker and how many by wwe writers.
Because I remember people were upset because he cheated on his wife.
But under this theory you mainly got it on when she was in smackdown.
So they might of got together by maybe your 2nd or 3rd fail.
Which I ain't sure of offically when they consider themselves a couple.
So I won't say your wrong on it.
While I do agree they are happy they kept McCool and it paid off good for them in the long run.

| Actualy, she and Taker had a thing going on by the time she was braught up with the school teacher gimmick. BECAUSE, at this time Sharmell was still part of the WWE, Michelle made her return in 2006 and sharmell left the WWE in 2007 and during 2006 to 2007 is when the pictures started circulating from Michelle, Sharmell, Booker and Taker being together. I remember it like it was yesterday.
So they have been together or had something almost 5 years ago now....right after she was braught back to the main roster.
Maybe officially togehter 3/4 years now...BUT sparks were flying prior to that
