Isis the Amazon, Leva Bates & Niya Get TNA Tryouts

Isis the Amazon, who was to have appeared as the protégé of Vickie Guerrero on the third season of WWE's NXT as Aloisia, wrestled a dark match against Florida independent women's wrestler Leva Bates prior to tonight's iMPACT! taping in Orlando, Florida, reports WrestleBabe.net.

The six foot nine grappler pinned Bates following a chokeslam.

Bates has previous TNA Wrestling experience as she competed against Awesome Kong in the $250,000 Fan Challenge in June 2008. She is a product of the Team 3D Academy of Professional Wrestling in Kissimmee, Florida.

Florida based independent women's wrestler Niya worked a dark match last night against Madison Rayne. Billed as Niya Verino from Las Cruces, New Mexico, she lost to the TNA Women's Knockout Champion.

Niya is a product of the World X-Treme Wrestling (WXW) promotion in Florida, which was founded by WWE Hall of Famer Afa "The Wild Samoan". She has also worked matches for Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) as TNA newcomer Rosita's tag team partner.

Leva Bates was in SHIMMER atleast once. I liked her in the ring. Couldnt really get into her "gimmick" though.

Honestly, I like Leva Bates, just don't think she is a girl who can help the division in any way at all.

Naya, like this girl a lot, but why make Rosita, Sarita's partner if they are going to eventually give her tag partner she's been tagging with over the last year with a try out match?

Wouldn't it have been smarter to introduce them as a team? They already have chemistry. Now Sarita and Rosita got the learn working with each other.

TNA sometimes just confuses me.

On a side note...I miss Chelsea

You know alot about the Indy scene for female wrestling and are big help for members there so you deserve the advertisement.

I want to see Leva in TNA. I wonder what gimmick they will give her.

I think it would be AMAZING to see Leva in TNA. I think she is young and very fun. Although she is still gaining experience, I think she could put on some good matches. Even if she is just hired in as a pay per appearance gig not a full out contract.
