| -- We've learned that WWE had absolutely no hand in the casting decisions for the revival of Tough Enough. USA Network officials and the show's production company, Shed Media Us, had full control on that aspect. The goal was to select models for the reality program. | |

| If the goal was to select models..why was Mercedes Martinez even "considered" at all?
i love her in the ring but quite frankly, she's not modeling material..

| What I want to know is who exactly from WWE established the contract for the revival, if it wasn't Vinnie Mac? Steph maybe? I've got a difficult time believing that if if was Vince who did the negotiating that he gave away full control over something like this. And I LMAO @ Tough Enough concept being intertwined with a Model Search. Isn't there speculation over a Diva Search return? I guess this would have been their creative way of finding their next Diva. | That doesn't really make sense.
So if that is true and wwe was really interested in the indy men and women but the people in control said no then they could still just sign them..
So yeah makes no sense if they were pissed about not getting to chose then tell them to fuck off and give the people they denied contracts instead.. | |
