Kevin Nash: “I Have A Five-Year Contract With The WWE”

When Kevin Nash returned as Diesel to the World Wrestling Entertainment back at their Royal Rumble pay-per-view, many expected that it would be a one-shot deal for the former WWE Champion and former 5-time WCW Champion, however, that doesn’t seem to be the case regarding Nash’s latest news via his Twitter account.

Speaking via his Twitter account, Nash noted that he had signed 5-year contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, most likely a legends deal, which is what Nash has been looking for since his return.

This contract would allow Nash to wrestle for World Wrestling Entertainment, whilst working Independent professional wrestling dates, providing he does not appear on any PPV’s or television shows, similar to that of WWE Hall of Famer, Jerry “The King” Lawler, who still regularly competes for various independent companies on the indy scene.

Nash noted that the last time that professional wrestling fans saw him, which was at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, that it was a surprise to them and the next time he shows up on World Wrestling Entertainment television or pay-per-view, it will once again be a surprise to the fans. Nash noted that within the next 5 years, that professional wrestling fans will hear the Diesel engine roar once again.

It remains to be seen what Kevin Nash’s role as Diesel is going forward, although one would have to expect that a rivlary with The Big Show, could be brewing, following their staredown at last month’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

I would have seriously just used him backstage.

Nash has always been about pushing the new guys, giving the new guys a chance and i feel it's a huge reason why it never worked between him and TNA i believe. TNA could have really benifitid with someone with a mentality like Nash.

Well, yeah their loss, it's a mess of a company anyways.

He's a valuable asset backstage; stay the fuck out of the ring though.
