WWE Unhappy w/ Tough Enough Cast

-- According to sources, WWE was unhappy with the original batch of Tough Enough contestants. As noted earlier here on the website, they were chosen by Shed Media and USA Network officials. The source notes that WWE was unhappy with the amount of indy wrestlers that were chosen. The original people in charge of casting were then replaced by a guy who previously worked closely with WWE's Kevin Dunn.

Because they weren't Big muscly and Huge?

I'm still not fond about the idea about indy wrestlers but i'll give the show a shot. I think WWE was kind of stupid to give TE a greenlight knowing they had little to know power with what was going on. I think this is a rookie mistake a company like TNA or ROH would make, not WWE who has years of experience working deals and contracts

I think it would be a good idea to have people with at least some sort of training in wrestling. But to overload it with Indy wrestlers? Kinda defeats the purpose I think, that may just be me though.

Booking a ton of Indy wrestlers kind of defeats the purpose of the show. Many of the guys are great wrestlers.

This is just WWE wanting their cake and to eat it: you get new talent and ratings for a pointless showcase.
