As part of the new generation of World Wrestling Entertainment superstars of the late 1990′s, despite his stints in World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling, Chris Jericho helped to usher in new and exciting wrestling in World Wrestling Entertainment alongside other former WCW and ECW alumni in Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko and many others.

However, nearly 12 years after his debut, Jericho recently sat down with Chris Smith of Sport.co.uk, and discussed who he considers to be the future stars in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Jericho noted that WWE Champion, The Miz is doing a great job holding his own in the company and that there is a lot more that the company could do with WWE SmackDown superstar, Wade Barrett and WWE RAW superstar, Sheamus. Jericho noted that professional wrestling is show business and that he believes that it is all about which people in the business have the ability and the personality.

Jericho said he thinks that WWE RAW superstar, John Morrison is ready to break into the next level in World Wrestling Entertainment, however, noted that Morrison has to work on getting his personality across to the World Wrestling Entertainment audience. Jericho also stated that he believed that “The All-American American” Jack Swagger was doing a great job.

When the question shifted to potential stars in World Wrestling Entertainment’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, Jericho noted that there are quite a few professional wrestlers down in developmental ready to come through, but you can’t teach experience and noted that World Wrestling Entertainment are heavily focusing on a lot of guys that have not really done a lot of work in the past. Jericho stated that these professional wrestlers are expected to carry the load and that they are not prepared for that task, because they do not know how to do so just yet.

Jericho also discussed the current ongoing war of words between WWE RAW superstar, John Cena and WWE WrestleMania XXVII guest host, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, a potential return to World Wrestling Entertainment, possibly entering a long feud with The Undertaker and trying to break “The Deadman’s” WrestleMania streak, his rock band Fozzy and much more.
