Another Syfy freshman show is getting a second season. On the heels of yesterday’s news that reality show Face Off will return, Syfy has just granted another round of Being Human.

Syfy notes the show has averaged 1.8 million viewers, making it the network’s most successful winter scripted series launch in six years. Also, the show has a 53 percent female audience, making it the channel’s most female-skewing series ever.

“Being Human has proven to be a winner for Syfy on all fronts,” said Syfy programming president Mark Stern. “Using the original format as inspiration, showrunners/writers Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke – along with a superlative team of writers, cast, and production – have created an amazing, compelling series in its own right. We can’t wait to watch Aidan, Josh and Sally continue their struggle to be human in the second season!”

I saw it once. It was good, but not good enough for me to remember to watch it every week. It just didn't grab me.

Good for them that they got a second season though. I have a friend who loves this show. He'll be thrilled.

Soo your telling Me Annie, George and Mitchell are called Sally, John and Aiden??

Ugh i saw the pilot, could not compare to the british version it was complete trash and filled with 101 special effects for no reason. Ugh, I swear North American producers continue to butcher some of British's finest shows.

Skins, Shameless and Being Human, butcherd and made a mockery of...ugh.

And funny enough, Showtimes new comedy "Episode" is about a british dynamic duo sent to the us and seeing their show being changed and ruined right before their eyes...i call that irony.

I saw one episode as well and it was okay but nothing I would commit to.

i like it i hhave seen almost every episode it's good

i would pick it over twilight anyday

Then Being Human UK > Being Human US > Twightlight.
