If you had a choice of anyone in the history of mankind, who would you talk to?

If you had the opportunity to speak to anyone who's ever lived, who would you converse with (or confront)? and what would you say to them?

Just my aunt before she died, I really have a hard time saying the word "love". I can't explain why

I just wish I would've told her that before dying, that's all.

Now you've got me to thinking of family who I would speak to.

Grandmother, great grandmother, both grandfathers (for different reasons, on good, one bad.)

Lydon Johnson, MLK, Jesus, Hillary Clinton, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Averell Harriman, England's Prime Minister Robert Jenkinson on exactly June 15th 1815.

Many things I would say to them, but Jenkinson I would let him know England won the war on June 15th instead of finding out on June 16th. Things may be a lot different if that happened.

MLK... that's a good one.

My Godmother, just to ask her what made her so happy.

She was a happy person with one of the biggest hearts in the world, had a horrible home life behind closed doors. She had a talent for Poems and loved everyone.

I would have just loved to ask her to give me advice to be as happy as she was and to be my biggest crittic when it comes to the poems i write.

That's probably the ONLY person that always comes to mind.

I'm going to say Jesus, to see how he really feels about things.

And why am I not on anyone's lists? Very disappointed. NO cookies for anyone.

I would ask her why she thought she could turn Britain around and how she felt about all her negative press.

Also, I would wish to talk to Nelson Mandela, and ask him how he felt about South Africa winning the 1995 Rugby World Cup in their first year in it and what drove him to eliminate apartheid and how it felt once it was achieved.

Probably, but it would be interesting to know his reasons for it.

One of my grandads as we were very close and unfortunately he had dementia before he died so it would be great to have one more lucid conversation with him.

I may have an answer for that, I've studied Nazi Germany before.

When the Nazi's came into power, Germany was pretty poor. They were paying for WW1 and material was more valuable than money was. Hitler (and German's in general) blamed the Jewish population as they were the ones who generally held positions like jewelers, positions that could earn oyu a lot of money, and were used as scapegoats. They were the obvious choice as scapegoats considering Jews were disliked across Europe at the time. I don't condone his actions, but I can understand them.

Yep. He became a loose cannon after his mom died - he was somewhere from 9-12 years old when she passed.

He got rejected from art school... and to make matters worse, no one wanted to purchase his paintings to put on display.

All this made him snap supposedly.

I'm not actually sure how he went from being rejected from art school and selling postcards on Vienna's streets to the most infamous dictator in history.

It is said that because he was such an influential speaker, people began to follow his lead. I'm not sure either of where he was speaking at; but needless to say there were generally large groups of people where he gave his speeches. I think I recall hearing he spoke at political events, not sure of it though.

Maybe there was. Perhaps they weren't bold enough to follow through with the execution.

I know it's wrong to wish death upon someone, but the way I see it: if someone is that evil, they deserve death.

Really? I never knew the Jews were hated ALL over europe i know in Portugal and Poland it was bad but not the entire of Europe. Hitler was a smart man, he became a dictator without breaking one law. How he came into power and everything was lawfully right and when he got to the top everything went downhill. Funny enough, he blamed an incedent that went down in France that helped him become a dictator.

Also his whole mentality was to have a nation with the "Echte Duitse Ras"....which is "Real German Race". which were people who were light skin, blond hair, blue/green eyes....ironically...everything he wasn't.

Hitler was an evil crazed man.....BUT also VERY smart, every step he took ever move he made to get to the top.....was right, according to the law, gotta admire that.
