Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku has joined CBS’ untitled sports radio comedy pilot that stars Damon Wayans.

Penned by Bill Martin and Mike Schiff, the comedy is inspired by Colin Cowherd’s outspoken sports talk show on ESPN. The cast also includes Danny Comden.

Dushku will play the role of Casey. The actress posted this update on her Facebook page today: “It is with insanest excitement & awesomeness I get to finally fill you guys in: I’ve JUST landed a new CBS comedy pilot w/my comic idol Mr. Damon Wayans! Stay tuned, there is a serious happy dance occurring at the moment Wink

Dushku was previously attached to a TNT pilot called Bird Dog but later dropped out.

Love her but she sure has bad luck with getting her shows to survive a couple seasons.

Its a real disgrace. Tru Calling really had potential. Never really got into Dollhouse, but loved Tru Calling. I don't even wanna buy the seasons and watch them because I'll be utterly disappointed when I know it just finished abruptly, and theres nothing more.

It was getting interesting, bringing in someone who was like her, but had the opposite views in mind. That storyline was really making the show. The sad thing is, people don't wanna watch things like these; they wanna watch people sexing all over the place.

I really liked it as well and in a best case scenario it would have gone on for at least another few seasons before ending on it's own accord; not getting canceled.

Dollhouse imo was a great show as well.

I recently watched the entire series on dvd.

Really interesting imo.

People generally don't tune into shows where you have to pay a lot of attention.

I can see why because if you miss one episode you could be lost but still if you like a show enough you will not miss it or watch it on line etc..

Honestly I feel shows like Buffy & Angel wouldn't survive during this age, based on people not liking to read a lot into hidden meanings.

It's hard for shows now and it has only been a little more than a decade since Buffy debuted.

So glad Buffy got a great run.

Sounds like a FAIL, I don't see it getting picked up. But much luck to them. I don't see how it fits into CBS's shedule...sounds out of the blue and CBS has done a great job of keeping their shows relevant and connected, how i met your mother, Rules of Attraction, Two and a Half Men and Mike & Molly has been a strong line up, also each shows fit into the same genre. Which is, Love, finding love, relationship issues. Which is why $#*! my dad says was on another night and didn't fit into the mold AND failed.
