Doctor Who is startingin a couple of weeks. They usually throw a couple of old British phrases in there.

And you won't find British phrases on any of the shows you listed.

LMAO Whatever...it's soo hard finding these shows and they finish sooo quickly.

I still have The Inbetweeners on my "to see" list lol. I have the complete first series downloaded but have yet to see it.

Also watched Single Father and Personal Affairs (OMG THEY WERE AMAZING!!)

I am seriously in love with British programming tbh. They have an amazing way of filming IMO...and their writing is witty.

OMG!! that reminds me!! NEeds to watch Being Human...half way through Series 3 now.

Most British shows seem to have the first series at 3-6 episodes and if its successful the rest at 6-13 episodes. Its strange and a little stupid.

It depends..most the drama/comedies range from 6 to 8. (for some freaking reason Single Father was only 4...i was like WTF!!!!)

While most the sci-fi stuff go from 10-13 episodes. it's what i noticed.

Nothing goes past 13...which sucks lol.

And I have to wait for Merlin till freaking 2012..because of Doctor Who. DAMMIT!!

Drama's don't go pass 10...but any of them rarely make it to 10.

Another thing....some just don't continue!!!! That is the WORSE!!!

Personal Affairs never continued past it's first run!!! i could have cried it was epicly awesome!!!

I wanna watch Doctor who...but i have this weird obsession to watch each show...from the beginning.

I think I've seen all bar about 4 of the new Doctor Who (since 2005, I think thats when the relaunch was). Its brilliant 9 times out of 10.

I don't really watch much TV. But Doctor Who, Casualty, Wild At Heart and now The Mentalist are shows I make time for. Of course, I'll be watching my Rugby, Formula 1 and MotoGP, but they are sports, so don't count. But I don't tend to watch TV anymore.

Casualty...always wanted to watch that .....but never had the chance lol.

I'll see if i can find torrents from Doctor Who from 2005 then....i always wanted to give it a look but just need to start from the beginning lol. If not i drop the show like it's hot lol.

Casualty's good. You should watch it. Try the BBC Website on a Saturday EVening.

Same with the new series of Doctor Who, BBC Website on a Saturday Evening. Not sure when the new series starts though.

If you want to watch the original Doctor Who, you need to go right back to the 1960s I tihnk it is.

I'll ask my friend if she watches Casualty...yes both of us love us some British TV...she usually asks me for them lol. I seem to find Most of them.

2005 I think is the series with Christopher Ecclestone. Thats the one you should start with.

Eastenders is the only one of those I've watched episodes of. I've heard of As The World Turns, but not seen it. The others I've never heard of.

Wading into the whole British TV debate, Eastenders is awesome. It you ever feel shit about your life, watch an episode of Eastenders with the shouting, violence and adultery, you'll feel so much better. Never got into Casualty or Dr Who, but I used to like This Life, similar to Skins but they're all middle class lawyers who take drugs and screw round instead.

Have to give a shout out to Ab Fab as well plus Men Behaving Badly. Great British comedies. And for sheer tackiness and over the topness, you can't beat Footballers Wives with the hermaphrodite baby!
