Diva Dirt reader Kevin met former WWE Women’s Champion, Amy Dumas aka Lita today during an autograph signing in Middletown, NY today.

As well as sending in the picture above, Kevin noted that Amy told him to ‘keep his eyes peeled’ when asked when we’ll see her in the ring again.

Last year Dumas stated in an interview that she’d be open to wrestling ‘for fun’, while it was also reported that WWE had reached out to her about returning to the company.

Thoughts: With Trish’s recent return to WrestleMania, I think fans would love to see the nostalgia continue with Lita returning to WWE. Lita has always had a hardcore fanbase and stayed in contact with WWE (including an appearance on Raw last year). Plus she looks like she hasn’t aged a day since retiring in 2006! If Amy is indeed interested in wrestling one more match (or several) and her body feels good enough to do it, then bring it on. Let’s hope something transpires in 2011.

Lita Tells Fan to ‘Keep Eyes Peeled’ for Ring Return at Autograph Signing! [Pic] Lita-auto2

As a follow-up to yesterday’s story, another Diva Dirt reader — Jeff Thornton — sent in a report and picture from meeting Lita (Amy Dumas) on Saturday in Levittown, PA.

According to Jeff, Dumas said that she ‘may have one more good run’ in her.

Check out his report below:

"We talked for a few minutes, and I asked her about coming back, even though I figured she wouldn’t be, but she said: “Yeah, I might have one more good run in me.” She laughed a bit before asking: “Who would you wanna see me go up against?” Just thought I’d share that, maybe hinting she is coming back soon for a short stint.

Also, some other notes. When she first walked through the doors at the Collectibles shop, she seemed a little… bitchy. But after going up to her, she wasn’t at all. She was the sweetest/nicest wrestler I’ve met yet. She let me talk to her for a few minutes, and I bought her CD and poster. She signed those along with a pic I bought. I asked her about her lip tattoo, and she showed me that she still had it, and then I showed her mine. She told me about how she got it done, and after it started fading, she got it redone in two weeks and it’s been there ever since. But yeah, she was the sweetest person ever, and so awesome to meet. Definitely worth it."

I think Lita and Trish should form a Tag Team to oppose Lay-Cool. I reckon its the best way for McCool and Layla to become the Trish and Lita of the next decade, the two women who drive the division forward.

^ Imo that should have happened at WM but I don't really think LayCool will be together for much longer so the chance to see that match may passed.

I still would like to see Trish/Lita team again to face two of the other top heels.

I don't want to see them EVER square off simply because....it will add yet another acomplishment to McCools name..thus far she's the most accomplished woman in WWE's history. She doesn't need this rub off.

lita was the first extremem diva, sacrificed alot, she is underrated, i say Lita before trish anyday, if it wasnt for lita's neck injury she would have had the same or better career LIta cheated, dont make ehr a hoe, tons of people cheat, if matt got over it , so should fans, cause it dont make her a hoe, tons of people out there do worse shit. just sayin. im forever a lita fan.

Sorry first of all the FIRST Queens of Extreme were Beulah, Francine and Dawn.....don't mix things up please.

Secondly she was WAY WAY WAY over rated. She was nothing more than a spot monkey, she wasn't technical, she wasn't a submisionist, she wasn't even a luchador or a high flyer because she fucked up those as well. She was sloppy and akward in the ring....she was a spott monkey ala Jeff Hardy....that's about it/

I liked Lita but unless she returns to put someone over not named McCool , her return would be as pointless as Trishs. She was a pretty poor wrestler and her mic skills weren't great. Best thing about her was probably her bumping and heel work with Edge. The WWE need to focus on making today's women stars rather than relying on yesterday's.
