2011 Draft to take place next Monday (25th April)

WWE 2011 WWE® DRAFT TAKES OVER MONDAY NIGHT RAW, MONDAY, APRIL 25 AT 9/8c

The entire roster of WWE Superstars and Divas will take part in the 2011 WWE Draft next week, April 25, on MONDAY NIGHT RAW live on USA Network at 9/8c.

In a thrilling night of television, all WWE Superstars and Divas, including WWE Champion The Miz, John Cena, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio and Sin Cara along with WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella, Eve and Kelly Kelly could be drafted to either RAW or SmackDown.

After Monday Night’s momentous draft, John Cena could be on “Friday Night Smackdown,” which airs each week on Syfy at 8/7c and Rey Mysterio could be coming to MONDAY NIGHT RAW.

The Annual WWE Draft is a chance to renew old rivalries or have WWE Superstars face off against each other for the very first time, bringing a new and fresh feel to each show.

I see Michelle be move to raw and The Bellas be move to smackdown doing the draft.

I wonder if that means we'll have a round of firings before the draft next week. I don't think the WWE will ever build Layla as a top face, so there won't be any reason moving her to Raw.

I'd like to move Maryse to SD, Beth to Raw and maybe an extra woman, Eve to SD. I don't think they'll bother swopping around their jobber talent like Alicia or Gail. Oh. And fire Melina!

-- As of today, whatever happens at the Draft next week won't take effect until the May 2nd Rock birthday show. They've totally re-written that script based off panicking and bumping the Draft from June to next week. It will probably be rewritten again ten times by the time it airs.

what a bunch of idiots...why move the draft up anyway? it was fine being in June...now it seems many feuds are being rushed to conclude in time for next monday. this is getting stupid lol

drop Alicia and replace her with Melina and i'd agree.

I think they brought the draft forward cause of Edges unexpected retirement which had left them short on top faces, especially on SD. A lot of people are saying Ortons rumoured to go over to SD to replace Edge.

Lol..really i doubt ANY diva will be drafted..if they do only one and if they have the post draft....maybe an added 2...don't see much diva shifting tbh.

SD doesn't need replacing. They have Christian and ADR as top dogs...Use them! We don't need the Orton's and the Cena's hogging SD spotlight as well.

Yeah, I don't see any divas being drafted.

McCool and Layla's feud is just taking off, why would they split a perfectly good feud from happening?

I could see Beth going to Raw. I feel like she's done NOTHING on Smackdown.

I agree SD has been the Laycool show for far too long. I do worry that any divas who go over to SD will now be over shadowed by the Laycool breakup which is obviously going to go on for months. As long as Michelles on SD no one else is going to be top heel and the way she's booked it's very hard for someone to get over as top face . Last one really was Mickie.

I'd also like to see Beth on Superstars so we can see her get some decent matches in especially against the likes of Alicia and the Bellas who she hasn't wrestled much and of course Kong!

The draft was brought forward so that an established Main Eventer could be a part of Smackdown with Edge's retirement. Its only a two hour show because WWE would not have been able to get the USANetwork (or whoever has Raw, not sure about these US channels) to bump another programme in favour of Raw, as the 3 hour specials are usually planned a couple of months in advance because of TV scheduling.

my prediction for raw next week.

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella beat Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly for a draft pick then Beth Phoenix be draft to raw.

I hope this ones true. Looking forward to Kong vs Beth. If she does move I'm thinking Maryse will be next candidate for move to SD.

I REALLY hope the Divas get some recognition this year. Plenty of different ways to go with them and Kong's imminent arrival adds to the possibilites.

My predictions would be:

RAW: Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool
SmackDown: Nikki Bella, Maryse and Gail Kim.

For guys, I guess Orton to SmackDown annnnnnnnnnnnnd uh, don't know, Cody Rhodes to Monday Night RAW.

I really only see Beth going to Raw. I try to imagina Michelle or Layla, but I think its too soon.

Why would they draft Raw Divas to Smackdown anymore anyways? Smackdown doesn't have the title.

I wish we still had the Women's.
