Former WWE Diva, Serena Deeb is at tonight’s Impact taping in Orlando and will be taking part in a match.

New Knockouts Champion, Mickie James revealed the news on Twitter, writing: “Bout to watch my siz @SerenaDeeb in a Lil TNA Knockout action! I can’t wait!”

It is not yet known if this is a tryout match, a one-shot deal, or if Serena has signed with TNA. More to come.

EDIT: We’ve learned Serena will have a tryout match prior to the Impact taping.

I would like her in tna as well.

She should still be in wwe but they had to fuck that up so I hope TNA pushes her.

As mentioned earlier today, Serena received a TNA tryout dark match at tonight’s tapings. The results of the match are below:

*Winter b. Serena Deeb with the catatonic backbreaker. (Source: WrestlingNewsWorld)

I don't know if that means she is going to be face but regardless I hope tna signs her.

Serena at this point, is too good for TNA, what she needs to do is, get her ass in shape and get ready to take that SHIMMER Championship which was going to be hers back in 2009.

Soooo yeah. She should do that.

I thought the next set of Shimmer volumes was not til September or so.

If that is true then the next time she could even challenge for the belt is in September right?

Serena was being groomed to be the Next Shimmer Champion back before her WWE signing.

With Wins over Sara Del Rey, Mercedes Martinez and some of Shimmer's main event stars, along with Main Eventing Shimmer with Del Rey, she was groomed to be the woman to take the gold off of MsChif...then she signed with WWE (ttss dumb bitch)

TNA does allow their women to be on Shimmer but for limited release. Soo for example tthere are 5000 Shimmer DVD's released...but ONLY 1000 features TNA talent in matches. They have a limited release kinda deal.

Serena can't be champ if she's part of TNA, which is why many TNA talent didn't main event shimmer (Kong, Alissa Flash, Sarita) because those matches couldn't always be featured on every DVD. Let's say they were like "Exclusive" matches. Bonus Material on the DVD's.

Oh further more, Shimmer has already put their time and energy in building new contenders.....Serena needs to start out at the bottom of the food chain all over again.

I didn't know the negative side of being in TNA and being on Shimmer so thanks for telling me.

So I guess if they are building up others and she would have to start from the bottom signing with TNA wouldn't really affect her much since she wouldn't be getting the belt anytime soon.

It will be interesting to see what she decided if TNA does offer her a contract.

Another reason there is not a lot of TNA women in Shimmer is due to the high cost of bookings. This was being talked about at the last tapings and I guess TNA has started charging more for the independent booking for their stars.

As far as Serena in Shimmer, I'm indifferent on it. I think she is very talented, but I just lost my spark for her a long time ago.
