PSN User Had $600 in Fraudulent Withdrawals From Debit Card

The PlayStation Network has been down for a while now and reports had recently emerged that users credit card details were potentially at risk. Now, someone has had $600 in fraudulent withdrawals from their debit card this weekend that was linked to his PSN account.

a user on a video game forum called NeoGaf says: "I had $600 dollars in fraudulent withdrawals this weekend out of the debit card that I had associated with my PSN account. I do not know if it was related, but just a heads up."

So, it seems theres a massive possibility that PSN users credit card details are indeed at risk; judging by the person above who stated his account had $600 taken out without his permission.

Also, due to the fact that Sony doesnt even know yet if PlayStation Network users credit and debit cards linked with their PSN account is in trouble or not, this may have happened to many PSN users who had their cards tied in with their accounts.

They were talking about this on AOTS. ALL of the psn users have to change their passwords and account info. Sony really fucked up with this one.

I really hope this get resolved soon. I really would like to get back online with my PS3. Luckily, I do not have any unauthorized charges on my credit card.
