Eric Bischoff Blasts Matt Hardy, Calls Him a Mid-Card Talent

Eric Bischoff has posted a rather controversial blog over at EricBischoff.com where he blasts ECW Champion Matt Hardy's review of "The Wrestler" and Hardy himself. Bischoff writes, "Matt, you are a friggin goof. Lets set aside the fact that your brother is walking a “three strikes and you’re out” tight rope as a result of his drug abuse, and if internet “news” was accurate, suffered the loss of his home and property due to a fire because he was too irresponsible to insure it. Your recent recap of your “lifestyle” frames you as a candidate to the Jake Roberts Hall of Fame. Your suggestion that you and your generation are “smarter and more responsible” than previous generations of wrestlers makes me sick. You are a mid-card talent that should be grateful to even get a check every other week. Enjoy it while it lasts. And rather than looking down your nose at previous generations of professional wrestlers, donate a portion of your check to one of them and ask them to point out all the parallels between your current career path/lifestyle and theirs. It would be the smartest and most responsible thing you could do."

WOW...so much hate. So why is it that Hardys are still employed with the WWE and Eric is somewhere.... well I don't know where he is. Matt Hardy worked his ass off to get to where he is now.

Bischoff left on his own terms because of the way the product was turning out to be. and they would NEVER give matt jeffs career only because matts the better wrestler and jeff....well makes all the 12 year old girls have theyre first orgasm

I learned a few thing from read his book. Eric Bischoff is a hard worker. He knows talent and how to make successfulness. I agree he is mid card talent which is why he is ecw champion because you really don't got to be a star to carry that title right now.

I'd love for Eric to create a new company

I'm late on this but I can understand Matt and eric's views. to eric, it sounded like Matt was being arrogant but I can see Matt's view on it cuz the current generation are a LOT more informed on the state of the game than previous generations were and know the traps and pitfalls, etc.
