The Wrestling Observer is reporting in an effort to cut costs, WWE is considering making the WWE Magazine an online-only publication. It's being said that over the past few years, the WWE Magazine has broken even financially, and the only reason why it's not losing money is because of the consistent increase in issue price.
As a result, WWE is considering a switch to an online format, which would see the monthly magazine pulled from newsstands and made available for download.

| How much is WWE Magazine now? I used to by mine at a newspaper stand way back in the day. The last one I had was sometime in'99 when I really couldn't watch Raw as much as I wanted to. I only spent $5 for each. | |

| ^ I think like $6.99 but it could have gone up to $7.99 [I have not bought on on news stands in like a year]. I mean I sometimes buy the special editions that don't come in my subscription but those are $10 anyways.
If this goes strictly digital then I'm out.
I have been sorta unhappy with the magazine for a while [always having the same people on the cover and NEVER including anything special anymore (posters etc)]..
So I'm in a dilemma I mean I can resubscribe but this report makes it seem like they could be all digital by a year from now. If I pay $25 for a year and they turn exclusively digital then am I fucked out of my full 13 issues for $25 say if they switch over after I only gotten 5/13 of my issues?
I think I need to call their asses so I think I'll do that tomorrow. | |
