He just announced that after winning the # 1 contendership match.

He either wins the wwe title and leaves with it or he loses and leaves.

So what do you think will happen?

Do you think he will come back and if so when?

I can see him coming back as a commentator or something to do with Beth.

Trish did. I say let him win it, they are just looking for an excuse to give Cena an 11th reign. Then he loses to Alberto, 12th reign, then loses to Rock, 13th reign.

"While the assumption is CM Punk will finish up with WWE after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday, July 17th, I'm told that isn't necessarily the case.

I can confirm that Punk has not signed a new WWE contract and his comments on last night's "Power to the People" edition of WWE Raw were legitimate. His WWE contract is expiring and he has talked about leaving for months.

However, I'm told that negotiations between Punk and WWE are still ongoing and one source even went as far as telling me he "seems more inclined to stay" but backed that up with he "definitely has not signed a new deal."

CM Punk has been unhappy with the direction of his character and the lack of commitment to it (remember his first pay-per-view win in over a year was Sunday at Capitol Punishment). As for Punk working in Impact Wrestling, I was told several weeks ago that isn't something he's thought about.

All and all CM Punk's WWE contract is up on Monday, July 18, 2010, however, negotiations continue between the two parties."

Hmm isn't there a way he can work per appearance? So say they give him the belt at MITB they should make him defend it at least going into Summerslam where he could either win or drop it [hopefully to ADR NOT Cena]..

If he doesn't sign then I don't think he will or should win the WWE title. And going on a hiatus in your home town would be a cool thing I suppose.

I really don't know what to think of this.

I hope he stays but if he goes it won't be the end of the world.

I think he will be like Jericho and come back in a less than a year or like 1-3 years max.
