Gail Kim Slams WWE Creative - Details

Gail Kim posted several interesting messages on her Twitter account criticizing WWE creative for not utilizing the Divas to their fullest extent.

Kim wrote the following regarding her match last week with Beth Phoenix on WWE Superstar: "Thank u! The response of our match has been unbelievable and it was TRULY a dream come true. Imagine if we were given a storyline or some more time behind it! Sigh...."

She then wrote the following in response to a Twitter follower wishing WWE would bring former Women's Champion Trish Stratus back to the fold: "There's not a lack of talent, it's the lack of time, storylines and use of talent!"

Kim then wrote a message to Stratus longing for days gone by: "I would love to go back to what we had back in those years! Those were like ironwoman matches back then compared to now lol."

Following Kim's critical messages, a follower remarked to Kim: "Instead of bitching; why don't you leave? People could perceive your tweets a bad attitude?" Kim, however, feels she's telling the truth.

She responded, "Oh thats not #!@%*#ing lol just the truth and I don't live my life based on what people perceive. Can't please everyone all the time."

Kim then said she's happy to be a regular on WWE Superstars because she gets to "wrestle."

"Sometimes I don't realize how long I haven't been on RAW because I still wrestle on superstars," Kim wrote. "Which I love because I get to WRESTLE for longer than 3 min and actually have singles matches! Hopefully soon...))"

She was telling the truth, a lot of women wrestling fans feel the same way

Nah, there have been others who have gotten their feelings out on twitter like that but sometimes I think half of that womens roster would be better off somewhere else. Let the eye candy divas stay and the wrestlers go somewhere else where they'll be appreciated

She had the whole world in the palm of her hand at TNA. She wanted the money, she knew what she was getting herself into. So why bitch? So why should I feel bad for her?

I thought that was the whole thing were people were reporting shes leaving because they usually sign contracts so many months in advance, and it was because she was getting married, which she denied.

I will be so pissed if she leaves then Kharma returns. It happened with Victoria/Gail too

And Kev...She may be bitching, but theres nothing wrong with trying to better the product and for her to want improvements.

She KNEW EXACTLY what she was getting herself into, so don't see the point in bitching.


The product isn't going to improve, she should just shut up and enjoy the paycheck she soo desperately needed.

that's exactly why you WOULD start speaking up and speaking out.

what's the worst that could happen? They pull her from tv? that means she gets to relax and not risk injury in matches.

or..they fire her..which means in 90 days she can be back out there competing...which is 90 days sooner than if she waited till her contract ended.

that's why this would be the time to speak up and speak out. It's not like they're doing anything with her. the worst that could happen is they fire her and i'm sure her reaction would be:

I find it funny she's bitching when she KNOW what was waiting for her when she sold her soul to the devil. She should seriously just shut up and be happy, she got what she wanted, Money, completely aware of what her situation would be.

I seriously don't feel sorry for her or sympathize her in any form of sort.


Even if she's leaving...NOW is not the time to speak up...when she signed she had to speak up and be specific on what grounds she would sign to the company. All she saw was dollar signs....so she signed without making demands.

It's not just her complaining about it though, half of the womens roster feel the same way too, they're just frustrated by how they're being treated

And like the women in TNA....they can walk out...But they don't right?

I'm seriously done complaining about the product.....because it is what it is.....people just need to realize that themselves...especially those who sign and then bitch about it.

I guess no one will really know because they can't be put in their shoes but I'm sure walking out isn't so easy

other than that...hte bitching should really stop....because THAT's what the WWE want and THAT's what the WWE is looking for....you just need to choose if you want to be part of it.

I agree with her, but if she had watched any WWE after she left the first time, then Gail knew what she was getting into before she signed up.

1999-2001 WCW was pretty awful, but I'd take that over modern WWE any day.

She is either trying to be fired or wants out or don't plan to return

A lot of people in the real world do this on twitter and facebooks and been fired from the company because you ain't allowed to speak out. I know some people who work at factory and they are told they ain't allowed to drink certain products and if there a picture of them with this drink they will be fired. This is the wrong way of doing things and is more of a person who seems to upset with the company and wants out because they don't like the direction.

I completely agree with everything she said. There is a lot of talent in the division and it could really really be an awesome group if they were given the right storylines and given an appropriate amount of ring time.

That said, I think it is relatively unprofessional for her to go on this rant on Twitter. If you have problems speak with Creative, speak with family or friends......there just isn't the real need for it on Twitter.

Now, as far as the whole argument about whether she should be able to do all of her complaining, she has every right to do it. I don't know what she discussed with WWE when she re-signed with them. For all we know, there could have been an agreement that she would be getting a lot more ring time.

I hope she isn't leaving in the fall. It would be a big hit to what is left of the division. but if she is, this is the perfect time to let it all out. Like Vix said, what is the worst that can happen. They fire her? That lets her start wrestling sooner.

I don't think she has a right. She KNOWS why she was fired in the first place, she KNOWS what the company is about and she KNOWS why she signed with the WWE in the first place (Which is/was the financial benefits)

WHy complain now? Why complain at all? When you know what the company is about.

Is she right? Maybe she is, but she was already aware of this when she signed.

She said it herself she gave ip doing what she love for more money, so why is she now complaining?

Meh, I've been over her since forever, i rarely care for her anymore, she doesn't interest me at all. Sure she's great in the ring but she gets lost in the shuffle and weeks would go by and i'd forget she's still hired.

she has the right to speak out, but she knew what she was going into. i liked her better in tna, and now that the knockouts divison has gotten more knockouts, she should come back, as heel.

Exactly. Either leave or shut up. No one forced you to sign your contract with WWE.

we don't know that she's leaving. her contract is up in September and that's all we know. she might not be that safe financially so she may resign. WWE use her regularly enough. they don't put her in big storylines but they have her wrestle often enough. it's not like she's being used any worse than Melina, Beth, Eve, Nattie or Alicia. if we're comparing the Ruthless Aggression divas to today's, one thing that today's are lucky for is that WWE is better at featuring all their divas regularly. Ivory, Jackie, Molly and even Victoria at times wouldn't be on TV for months at a time. hell remember when Victoria was the champion and didn't appear on Raw for four weeks in a row?

i doubt she'd go back to TNA now anyway considering their company isn't much better. right now they're all about Mickie and let's face it. she's a bigger name than Gail.
