Mason Ryan To Debut New Gimmick?

-- Mason Ryan is expected to be repackaged upon returning to WWE. There has been talk that he'll be used in a bodyguard role, possibly for The Miz or Alberto Del Rio.

Wasn't he effectively in a bodyguard role already, as the Nexus bodyguard?

Nexus is nothing these days, especially when Punk leaves.

They haven't been relevant since Barrett, Slater & Gabriel were moved to SmackDown!

The only time they were worth a damn was when Punk took over and once they revolved around his character, made them a solid heel faction making the faces look good. More than what I can say for the Barrett World Order squad of ruthless uncharismatic rookies who tried and failed to be 'cool' heels.

The Corre bombed for the same reason, and Nexus is still around (until MITB I'm sure), that says something.

As it refers to Mason and the rest of the Nexus outside of Punk, why don't they just make the Faith gimmick as part of their's so they have something to work off of once their Lord and Savior are gone (temporarily)? Simple enough to go on.

After a few epic weeks with Punk as leader, the group wasn't doing shit. Hasn't for a while now.

They were still the main heel faction on Raw still continually antagonizing the faces, they were doing their jobs. Were they the main focus, no. But that wasn't the point, they weren't supposed to be. It wasn't until recently that they became more desolate and that's because of the shoot angle keeping their leader busy....and their enforcer's hurt too can't forget that.
