Robin Hardy, creator of The Wicker Man, will see his companion piece, The Wicker Tree, have its WORLD Canadian premiere at the awesome Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal.
Hardy's in town kicking it with festival guests and fans, and has let
loose that he begins filming a third film in the franchise NEXT WEEK.
There's no word on what the title will be, but come this time next year
we'll all be talking about The Wicker Man TRILOGY. Bizarre, I know.
In the 1973 Wicker Man, a police sergeant is called to an island
village in search of a missing girl whom the locals claim never
existed. Stranger still, however, are the rituals that take place
there.
