Subject: Crazy Woman Attacks Judge In Court! Fri 22 Jul 2011, 3:38 am
A routine court proceeding turned vicious in a Kentucky courtroom on Wednesday, after a woman attempted to attack a judge.
Melissa Hardwick was in a Wayne County family courtroom over a domestic violence complaint from her estranged husband. According to one report, the woman’s husband said that things have been escalating since the first of the year.
Judge Jennifer Upchurch Edwards asked Melissa not to interrupt while her husband was talking or she will be held in contempt of court.
“Ms. Hardwick, you will be held in contempt of court,” Judge Edwards told Hardwick.
“I don’t care. I haven’t done anything to this court,” Hardwick said. “Haven’t done anything to him."
“She’ll be held in contempt,” said Judge Edwards.
Moments later, Hardwick lunged at the judge who was swiftly grabbed by deputies, slammed to the floor and handcuffed.
Hardwick has been charged with contempt of court and will serve 120 days in jail for that offense and she is reportedly also going to be charged third-degree terroristic threatening, intimidating a participant in the legal process and resisting arrest.
Her original domestic violence charge was upheld by Judge Edwards for obvious reasons.
Hardwick is being held in the Wayne County Jail on $25,000 bond.

i loved in the movie "Law Abiding Citizen' how he makes up some legislation bullshit and the judge is gonna release him then he turns on her critising the entire legal framework. so funny yet respectful
