Welcome to WD's Apprentice first season.
I am your host, Hailey.
There are 12 players and these players will be split into 2 teams of 6.

Here are the teams.

Teams were randomly selected, so don't bitch at me please.

So now, the first task is to select a team name.

I give you 2 days to come up with a team name together, or else I'll just give you the randomest team name ever.

However, if this task is not given in 2 days (deadline is July 25th at 5 PM EST), everyone on the team recieves a strike. After 3, you are eliminated.

I am not really good deciding names but I'm open to suggestions people.

But we should be able to find better names than 'Backbone.'

At least I hope so.

I don't think our name should reference any one member. I say that cos if we're meant to be working as a team, our name should reflect the team, as opposed to an individual.

plus i dont think any team name will be as epic as LL and his hoes rofl

Week 1 - Challenge

Welcome to your first challenge!

Before I explain the challenge to you, I'll tell you about an important task...

Each team needs to select a captain for this challenge.
The captain's job is to give out tasks to his or her teammates and to share jobs equally.
Also, the captain has to be the one to PM me the challenge.
The captain of the winner's team will be safe next week.
However, the captain from the losing team is automatically in the bottom 3.
Choose wisely!

Here is the first challenge.

Both teams need to come up with a new Gatorade drink.

What's needed
- Flavor (What kind is it?)
- Name of the flavor
- Cost
- A "drawing" of the label

Deadlines
- Captains are due July 27th @ 7 PM EST
- Challenges are due August 1st @ 7 PM EST

I don't really want to be captain so hopefully someone else steps up on our side.

And Hailey are we suppose to just pm everyone our ideas?

I mean there is no thread that each team can go where the opposing team can't see and or comment in?

That would be best and very cool if we had something like that since pming everyone could be quite tricky..

that wouldn't work, as the threads would have to have special permissions and to my knowledge, you can't give threads that kinda permission unless it's a board with staff permissions. anyway, if no one wants to be captain, I will, depending on what everyone else thinks.

as dead said..we'd need special frums with special permissions and that's like alot of work lol

Blue did that for his game..which became a headache later on.

Dead being captain is fine by me.

we need to figure out who is doing the 'concept art' for this though. only a handful of us know GFX..

mass PM does work, you just have to add each individual name seperately

i told you about mass PM before, Silva

you type or copy/paste the name of the person in the 'username' box..then press enter

it will reload the page with a new empty username box...copy/paste the next name and press enter again.

keep doing that till you get every name in a box, then type your message

edit: almost taken care of, woooo

The mass pm here never worked and when I was host last I just did it manually.

Was a bitch at first but towards the end I liked only sending 5 or so pms.

And Dead I already pm'd her so hopefully it is fixed tomorrow.

As I told Dead I will be really busy tomorrow although I'll try to get on more than I think I will be able to.
