Having trouble keeping up with all of the mainstream women’s wrestling that takes place off TV? Well fear no more! Diva Dirt has got your back with the House Show Roundown! Without any further ado, let’s kick things off!
This weekend, Raw, SmackDown, and Impact Wrestling were each represented. Raw chose to focus on a singles bout instead of a tag team, with Brie Bella going up against Beth Phoenix. Not only that, but a special guest hostess for the night, in NXT Season 3 Rookie, Naomi, made her presence known.
Over on SmackDown, Natalya picked a different member of the self-proclaimed Chick Busters (AJ & Kaitlyn) to team up with against Tamina and Rosa Mendes. One report claims Melina was Tamina’s partner, and at this point I really don’t know because Rosa has been confused for Melina before, but nonetheless, we post ‘em how we see ‘em.
Impact Wrestling was also in action, pairing up one half of the new TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions, Miss Tessmacher, with her former partner, Velvet Sky, against Mexican America (Sarita & Rosita) for some solid action.

WWE Raw in Wildwood, New Jersey “Naomi came out as the host and Otunga and McGillicutty interrupted her (to the old Nexus theme) which brought out Ryder & Primo”

WWE SmackDown in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Natalya & AJ b. Melina & Tamina “Prior to the match, Kaitlyn was introduced as the guest host of the night and was confronted by the heels. Natalya & AJ ran them off of Kaitlyn and to the ring” (Source) Sunday July 24th
WWE Raw in Upper Marlboro, Maryland Beth Phoenix b. Brie Bella “They did the dance contest gimmick hosted by Naomi. The winner got to go backstage.” (Source)

DD's Thoughts: Isn’t that a mouthful of house shows? Beth going over Brie is interesting, but I’m not sure if it will lead to anything for Beth judging by last night’s TV episode. Fingers crossed something happens for her though after a string of good to great matches on Superstars. SmackDown, personally I’m not sure if Melina was there or not, but whatever the case may be, it’s good to see Kaitlyn and AJ get some more ring time, as well as Tamina and Melina Rosa Melina Rosa her partner. Impact also seems to put on a great show, and the match taking place got plenty of time. Thumbs up to all shows.
