Do you think Kelly Kelly and Layla are WWE's Next Torrie and Stacy??

There both not the best wrestlers on the diva roster but there both over with the crowd and are always the underdog in there matches.like torrie an stacy and how the wwe universe loves both of them.

Kelly? maybe the next Torrie...although Kelly still isnt improving and Torrie improved atleast a little bit.

Well when you see it like that...many girls have come and gone and played that role.

Layla is more of a wrestler than Stacy ever was. she just got into the ring every now and then and was more eye candy based so i'd say the Bellas would be like Stacy. i do see Kelly and Torrie being similar only Kelly actually got the title. i'd have liked to see Torrie as champion too towards the end

Kelly is blonde bimbo # 7612726277, watered down version Torrie Wilson but not nearly as hot.

Layla is herself, she's an original <3 First British Women's Champion/DS Winner to win the gold/1/2 of one of the longest female pairings in wrestling history <333 (more like 2 years but that's an eternity in diva years)

Layla could be a great technician if she worked at it but given her age i dont think it's in the cards for her

One of Layla's better attributes is that her character does focus more on the technical side of things...lets face it for a diva search girl she is one of few who doesnt have major flashy moves.....but she does need to work on it more for sure...that and not overselling etc.

as for the topic at hand

I do think that Kelly is a new Torrie....however when people say Torrie is better in the ring...i personally disagree i feel at an overall level they are both at the same sort of standard. The one thing that makes me think this is that because they have different style. Torrie was booked more like a brawler whereas Kelly was booked more for speed and flashyness. on a techincal stand point i can understand how Torrie is percieved to be a better techincian...its really only because she was booked more to show this , whereas Kelly has never been booked to show techincal ability in my view

Stacey is in a world of her own...mainly because of her height...the only reason when she won matches that it looked legit was because she used her height and long legs to her advatnage. no one has the height of Stacey so they are all booked differently....not to mention in all of her tenure she was for the majority booked as a sex symbol and manager. Layla and Kelly have both respecitvely had their stints as managers but for the most of their careers they have been booked as up and comers in the whole wrestling shtick

Torrid and Stacy are miles better than Layla and Kelly. I really liked both of them. They had a lot of star power and played their roles very well as sexy bitches or sweet faces. I though Torrie was pretty solid as a wrestler, not great but she came a long way. They were both very marketable and much more entertaining than Layla or Kelly.

The difference back then is that they knew how to play to the girls strengths and hide their weaknesses. Someone like Kelly would have been booked way different back then and much better.

But, would Layla or Kelly have ever been Champions in Torrie's and Stacy's heyday? Remember, that was at a time when Mickie and Melina were the smallest girls in the Division, the tiny, petite ones. Even Beth didn't look that imposing and dominant, back then.

108 pound Kelly would have looked like Terri Runnels did in the ring with the big girls that were fighting for the Women's Championship. Some fans have even said that Terri would have been great in the modern era, but she just came along at the wrong time to be a competitor.

I really wish Terri had trained more to be a wrestler. she had a lot of spunk
