| Just thinking about 'kid friendly marketable divas' I think Mighty Molly could've been such a perfect candidate for a top diva in this era. Kids love superheros, and having Mighty Molly there might have triggered a strong reaction from them. | |

| Mightly Molly would have just been a comedy gimmick leading to nothing like Santino, Jillian Hall and EVENTUALLY Kong. | |

| The gimmick was actually very popular at the time near the end of the Attitude Era. What was supposed to be a heel gimmick got her and Hurricane over, huge, to the point they had to go ahead and let them be faces even though they were in the Alliance. It's like how RVD was supposed to be a megaheel for the Alliance in his feud with Jeff Hardy, but the crowds split along age and gender lines, making Rob more of a face. Jeff Hardy had what would now be Cenation, the women and little kids, while RVD had the men. Yeah, Jeff Hardy was the John Cena of the Attitude Era. Well, Jeff, Matt, and Lita were all John Cena back then, but Jeff especially so. The reason the gimmick ended was the roster split, with them being drafted onto different brands where they were needed as cornerstones for the Women's and Cruiserweight Divisions being built. | |

| I agree 100%, Kevin.
@perceval: I completely forgot it was a heel gimmick initially. From wht I remember, she was pretty over, like you mentioned. Being a big Molly fan, it really didn't matter what gimmick she had - or how short her hair was (bald reference) - she was great.

| yeah they had to split them up since Jazz was injured and they needed Molly to turn heel and feud with Trish. i think the gimmick would have been over today as well. it was pretty over back then and we still remember it even though it didn't last that long | |

| Mighty Molly as well as The Hurricane would be suitable fits for this (PG) era. | |

| Beth's kinda superheroesque in her attire with the whole Glamazon thing going on so she could have been marketed like that. The only problem is these things can get really tacky quickly. I liked her best during her original Molly Holly debut. Cutest diva ever . | |

THIS By 2005 The Hurricane WAS a marketing tool for kids...and neither him or Rosey would have EVER evolved as characters. Mighty Molly would have just been Mighty Molly for 3 years...they would have given her a heel run and eventually release her because she isn't marketable anymore.
