We all hate remakes, especially of classic movies. But nowadays, it
seems all the good and classic horror movies of the 70s, 80s and early
90s have fallen under the remake knive. Movies like Halloween, A
Nightmare on Elm Street, The Amityville Horror, Friday the 13th just to
name a few. There's only been 2 horror franchises that havent been
remade...yet and thats Child's Play and Poltergeist. But sadly, there
were rumors a few months ago about those series as well getting the
remake treatment. But enough of this rant, what are some of your
favorite horror movies that were remade? Note, they can be american or
foreign remakes. Here are some of mine:

The Last House on the Left
A Nightmare on Elm Street (i enjoyed it, for what its worth)
Dawn of the Dead 2004
Friday the 13th (it has Jason running...he doesnt fucking run!)
