Did you enjoy watching the bra and panties matches?

They were alot fun to watch back in the day how come they stop doing thoese matches?

I prefered to see the women actcually wrestle.

They stopped doing it because they wanted to appeal more to the younger demographic, as it was said that it would be an easier way to eliminate some of the violence that was having ill-effects on wrestlers' long-term health. Obviously, money was a factor too.

But thats not fair I wanna see more bra and panties matches!!

It was okay, but I always preferred a match with Molly, Ivory, Victoria, Jazz or Gail in it -- especially Molly. She was enough sex appeal that it didn't matter if she were completely covered up, or in an evening gown.

They were such a sigh of relief. I rather enjoyed them. I had no issue with them.

I thought they were kinda stupid, especially the endings with the run of shame when the loser, being humiliated by being stripped down to her underwear, runs backstage covering herself; when that happened, I use to think, "This is so stupid, when are they acting like this is embarrassing when we seen them wrestle in less and they're going to do a pictorial for WWE.com later on in the same damn underwear set."

they were alright. there is of course a place for stuff like that in wrestling as long as it doesn't get in the way of storylines. usually in WWE it was the eye candy girls who'd be in that while the proper wrestlers had matches. WrestleMania XX they had the Playboy match while Molly and Victoria had the title match, then Raw Roulette there was the B&P match and then the cage match. they were a lot more entertaining than the lame costume matches creative keeps trying to pull

The last match that was purely about showing off the goods, which I didn't want to turn th channe, was back in 2008 or 2009. It was a Summer themed match that featured water guns & balloons, of course. M ickie James made it worth the watch.

Personally, I am not upset at all that they are gone. Because of the audience, I think it promoted the women in sub-par ways. It was simply a peep show for the men in the audience. Then I found it bordering on degrading when WWE put the really talented women in the matches.

I miss them. I'm not going to give the typical internet wrestling community b.s. answer and say "No, I need technical wrestling 24/7." The thing I liked about the Attitude Era is that it wasn't so damn politically correct all the time.

There were certain things about wrestling in general that I thought was offensive, but I always have felt that it's just entertainment. And let's face it, the T&A era of WWE occurred in an era when many shows on tv were pushing the envelope in terms of what was inappropriate and what wasn't.

There were plenty fo women back in that era would said there were things they just wouldn't be willing to do; and others which they were kinda on the fence about.
