Hard times, indeed: MTV has canceled The Hard Times of RJ Berger after a two-season run. The edgy comedy, which chronicled the exploits of a dorky-yet-well-hung high school student (Paul Iacono), grabbed more than three million viewers in its second-season premiere in March, but May’s season finale drew less than one million people.

The network has no shortage of scripted comedy in its pipeline: It will debut the horror-ific Death Valley on Aug. 29 and the animated Good Vibes in October (along with the return of Beavis and Butt-head), while the dramedy I Just Want My Pants Back and an adaptation of Brit hit The Inbetweeners are slated for 2012

Are they seriously considering a remake of The Inbetweeners....after Skins FAILED immensly?

I love Hard Times; and Awkward.

Those are the only new MTV shows I like.

OMG!!! I love Akward it is sooo cute.

And OMG that guy is sooo hot. He was in desperate housewives...yummerz
