I Cant Belive Im Saying this but....

I been watching Kelly Kelly ever since her debut on ecw I really didnt like her expose gimmick she was doing but I did like her and was a fan because I thought she was a nice and sweet person and you dont really hear anything bad about her.After her expose gimmick was over she REALLY improved with her wrestling skills and had an amazing matches with beth,natayla,victoria and layla.I was so proud of her and I knew then she was going to be something big in the future.In 2010 till now her wrestling skills just went down for some reason it wass like she just got tired or something and I didnt understand why but I was still rooting for her because I knew she can still pull it off.When she won the divas title I was so proud of her after 5 years she finally achived her goal.But for some reason I felt she wasnt ready for a title that her wresltling skills just was not good enough.No matter what no one says she can pull off a match with beth and nattie.But kelly as champ dosent feel right like I want it to be.

except Kelly is hugely popular while Rosa isn't. Trish, Lita and Melina all got the title before they were ready for it, and in Trish and Lita's case the belt didn't really mean anything since it was still being defended in bra and panties matches and slop matches. Trish/Jazz built the belt up and made it mean something. maybe Kelly/Beth will do the same

The difference being that Trish and Lita, and even Molly at the time, were still new. Kelly's been there for five years, now. Instead of comparing her to the Trish and Lita of 2000, a correct comparison would be the Trish and Lita of 2005.

One huge difference between then and now is finally being corrected: Training. Then, they had Fit Finlay training them, starting with Molly and Trish, then the others. They all improved considerably, even the ones who'd been trained workers, before. Jazz went from primarily a brawler to a chain wrestling submission specialist. Note the difference in Gail from her fresh out of OVW debut when she was a botching spot monkey in 2003 to her submission moves in 2004. Goldust is now training them, and we've already seen a marked improvement.

But, there's still the size issue when it comes to making the likes of Kelly and the Bellas credible wrestlers, the reason Terri Runnels was never going to be Champion in the classic era. She was just too tiny. I've mentioned Beth's Raw debut in the past, and how she didn't look remotely physically dominant because she was a big girl in the ring with a bunch of other big girls at a time when Mickie and Melina were the tiny, petite, girls in the division.

Kelly is 108 pounds. Trish was 135, even though, at 5' 4", she was 2 inches shorter than Kelly. 5' 4" and 135 pounds was also Moolah's size in her prime. Lita was 135 and Molly 140, so that seems to be the optimal weight for a woman wrestler in that height range.

Another difference which ties into the weight thing is the modelling backgrounds. People bring up that a lot of the girls in the classic era came from the modelling world, so what's the difference? The difference is Chyna, Trish, Victoria, and Torrie came from fitness modelling. The current crop are former swimsuit and lingerie models. The right "look" to Jim Ross wasn't just being pretty, but looking like a wrestler, with a lot of muscle mass. John Laurinatis sees that as a negative, just wanting girls who look like Playboy models.

What Johnny Ace is forgetting is who Playboy always sought when it came to WWE Divas. They didn't pursue Miss Kitty. They got Chyna. Even Torrie was the third choice when the first two turned them down. Christy, Candice, Ashley, Maria... Playboy settled for them when they couldn't get the ones they really wanted, which were Trish, Lita, and Beth. At the time WWE went PG, they broke ties to Playboy who happened to be negotiating with Kelly... because the Glamazon had said "No" for the same reasons Trish and Lita did.

Who Playboy always sought first probably confused the hell out of Laurinatis, because he just didn't get what made the classic women wrestlers special. You can see the swimsuit/lingerie models anywhere. Playboy had a ton of those already. The combination of good looks and muscle, beauty and strength, "pinup strong" as Beth calls it, was what made them stand out from the sea of generic pretty girls. Johnny Ace removed what made the WWE Divas unique and marketable.

So now, we have a lot of girls who are not only not unique, but they're not credible wrestlers, either.

Nope.

I think is is going out on a limb to say Kelly Kelly has ever been decent, let alone good or talented. She has been in the business WAY too long to be as bad as she is.
