Very cool news, indeed. WWE will be featuring the first ever Divas ladder match on its next compilation DVD, reveals WWEDVDNews.com.

The match between Beth Phoenix and Katie Lea (now Winter in TNA) took place in Ohio Valley Wrestling while it was a WWE developmental territory, thus making it the only Divas ladder match in company history.

“Ladder Match 2: Crash and Burn” is a follow up to a 2007 DVD release and will be released on October 11th.

Do you ever think there could be a WWE divas ladder match [doesn't have to be 4 divas but maybe just one on one]?

good stuff hopefully a bit more buzz can be created off this so at some point we end up having a divas Ladder match

aye and lead to a Kelly v Beth ladder match....but i can see them putting Kelly over in that match to show that the models aren't shite...and i don't really fancy having Kelly winning the first ladder match haha

That's cool, I liked that match . I'm not sure about a ladder match myself. It would need a helluva lot of time and would be way too risky for most of the divas involved. We don't really have a high flying diva to pull off any cool spots.

Is that the first OVW match on a WWE DVD?

I really enjoyed the ladder match. I thought it really pushed the boundary for women's wrestling in the promotion and in the WWE. It is a shame that this kind of match could only take place in the farm territory instead of on the main roster.

I think there are some women that could pull off a ladder match now. Beth and Nattie for sure could. I think Layla and AJ could do alright in one. Had this discussion been a year and a half ago, Gail, Melina and Michelle would all be added to the for sure list.

we would need a high flyer so AJ is probably the most likely candidate. she's said she would love to do a ladder match anyway. don't sell Kelly short, she does take daring bumps and a gymnast wouldn't be that uncomfortable on a ladder. the TNA women's ladder match was only about five minutes and that was still pretty good
