“Heroes” and “Star Trek” alum (and now a bonafide film producer with
“Margin Call”, among others) Zachary Quinto is in talks to play a major
arc on FX’s new “American Horror Story” series.
The show, from
“Glee” creator Ryan Muphy and starring Connie Britton and Dylan
McDermott, centers on therapist Ben Harmon (McDermott) and his wife
Vivien (Britton) who, dealing with the aftermath of Ben’s adultery, move
along with their kids into a new house that seems to know all about
their fears and plays on them.
Quinto will appear in a special two-part ‘Halloween’ episode, according to Deadline.
Quinto, who will appear in at least four episodes, will play Chad,
the gay former owner of the house who becomes friends with Vivien.
Quinto will make his debut in a big two-part Halloween episode, which
Murphy and Falchuk are working on. The first part will air in the
series’ regular Wednesday time slot Oct. 26, followed by Part 2 on
Halloween night, which FX is expected to turn into an American Horror
Story-themed event.
With the “Star Trek” sequel not revving up anytime soon, Quinto’s obviously gonna need to beseech bread elsewhere.
