"Top" WWE Diva possibly turning heel?

Could a top WWE Diva be turning heel in the near future?

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been discussion about turning either Divas Champion Kelly Kelly or Eve Torres heel and having them feud against each other.

The Observer notes that no decision has been made yet regarding which Diva would turn heel, however.

Thoughts: I’d personally pick Eve to turn on Kelly. Kelly has a strong fanbase so turning her heel doesn’t seem like a very good move, but it’s worth taking the risk with Eve and adding new shades to her character.

And if WWE is planning a feud between K2 and Eve, does this spoil the eventual outcome of the Beth/Kelly feud?

I think a heel turn could help me enjoy Eve more.....but saying that i only ever enjoy divas when they are heel...but they need to stop turning divas heel....we have no faces left!

From the day those two started getting buddy buddy, i knew someone was turning.

Like i said at Summerslam and hopefully now at the nxt ppv.

I wanna see Eve hold up Kelly's hand in the air after she wins....and take her out with one blow.

It'd be best if it's Eve.Kelly is by far the most over Diva in the company right now. We've seen what happened when Eve was given a chance to be a top babyface. She fell flat on her face. Not too many people were clamoring over her. I think she is probably better suited as a bitchy heel than the "girl next door" face. It would be completely unoriginal to have Natalya or Beth play the part, as we've seen it already a million times.

They can afford to take a risk on Eve as a heel more than they can Kelly. Should Kelly fail, then how do you sell her to the fans as a face again (turning her back face is what they'd likely do).

Eve on the other hand would likely take on the Alicia Fox role: get some occasional tv time. Put over the opponent more often than not.

So if they turn Eve heel, how many female faces other than Kelly will be on RAW? Will Kelly be the lone face giving fans no other option, but to cheer for her?

There's always Alicia Fox, who no one cares about as a babyface.

Did you hear all of her great fans, though? I couldn't hear them over hooting and hollering for Kelly, and people getting up to go take a whiz.

IMO, she's okay (gimmick wise), but she isn't someone I want to see on a weekly basis in the ring. Especially taking that ridiculous walk down the ramp.

After watching Raw last week I can definitely tell Eve is gonna turn heel especially after getting Kelly out of the way and taking that kick from Brie. She's basically gonna say she had enough.

As for Kelly retaining, I really hope that's not the case. They could always have Eve cost Kelly the match and then Beth and Natalya can feud with AJ and Kaitlyn or Alicia. An Eve vs Kelly feud doesn't have to be for the belt and I would hope they're not pushing Divas of Doom for nothing. Kelly's already had the belt for 3 months which is how long a diva usually holds it so I still see her losing at NOC

I'm sorry, but I just can't buy Kelly as a heel. She's no where near talented enough to pull it off. Nothing about her is imposing or threatening. Eve would be a better choice I guess.

good god i hope not. we don't need another heel turn and we need faces who can wrestle properly. no offence to Kelly and Alicia but Eve is better in the ring than them. Beth and Nattie are fine as the dominant divas in the division so let's just keep it that way. Kelly/Natalya, Eve/Beth or Eve/Natalya would be much more promising feuds. a one off Eve/Kelly match would be fun but keep both of them faces, though i wouldn't mind seeing a heel Kelly

It seems a bit random as theyve just created a heel tag team with Beth and Natalya. Unless Beth wins and as champ can appear on both shows, so has a primary feud on SD. It would be refreshing for either Eve or Kelly to turn heel but for reasons many others have said Eve makes more sense.

The heel/face ratio would be way disproportionate . I guess though with Raw being a superegos now, they can use the SD face girls a lot more on Raw although the match ups are going to get repetitive not that they aren't already!

With the official end of the brand extension as of Monday, it wouldn't matter if she has the belt or not. (You read that right, Chloe. HHH said on Raw that it's over)
