WWE are obviously pushing Orton as the next Steve Austin or something. That is good and all, attitude wise, but the whole trait of rarely losing matches and always getting the last laugh is so frustrating. Orton always has to hit the RKO to get the last laugh, like Austin used to do with the Stunner.

Yeah that is kinda annoying.
He should lose some more matches but then again you don't want you champ looking really weak.

Losing on occasion wouldn't hurt him. He's just as annoying as Cena imo, because he hardly ever loses a match. Always get that last laugh, as you mentioned, X. Plus, he's always has the damn belt, or he's in a championship match. Above all else, he's just dry as hell. They may as well have left him heel, as he hasn't changed much since becoming face last year.

IMO Austin is worse then Orton. I can't think of anyone who has lost as fewer matches as Austin...even Cena has lost more matches then Austin....one of the many reasons i refuse to jump on the Austin bandwaggon, the guy was overpushed to death

I see your point, but the difference is about six years for Austin, with a decline of being around the title. He missed a lot of time in 2000, and became more of an on-air talent around 2003, and not too much of a wrestler. Still a long time, but he gradually stepped away from the main event picture.
It doesn't look like Cena and Orton will be going anywhere anytime soon unless they leave or are forced to stop wrestling. They're both in their 30s (Cena 34, Orton 31). They've already been major players for 6 or seven years, depending on your interpretation of when they'r major push began.
When Austin was on his way out, he was about 39 yrs old. So if Orton and Cena last until they're 39 and pushed the way they are right now (I don't think that will happen), we're talking another 8 yrs of these two in major story lines.

If Orton gets out of the wrestling industry and stays out, I'll be happy. Never liked him from day one.

That's fair enough. You like who ya like! Aside from the constant winning, what bothers me about Orton is his gimmick. Listening to him speak is like listening to Ben Stein in the clear eyes commercials.
