Trish Stratus Advertised for Tuesday’s SmackDown Taping in Toronto!

Doubt there'll be a confrontation with the DoD. They've been using Twitter to push this storyline, and Trish has been backing Beth & Natalya throughout on that, so...

Also, it's not as though the DoD are going to be heels for the next week. I'm sure WWE realizes they're not going to boo Natalya in Canada, especially with Bret there, and they sure as hell aren't going to be booing Beth in Buffalo at NoC.

Any confrontation Trish might get into would be with the Bellas, since Nikki going on about how the Bellas, Kelly, and Eve were better than not only the DoD, but all Divas that came before.

I just don't get why a certain segment of fandom so bitterly resents anyone who retires from wrestling in their prime and continues to have a healthy and successful life outside the business. If you're that upset with Trish and the Rock, take solice in the fact that there's still Ric Flair, the Hardys, and Kurt Angle being the way you want pro wrestlers to end up.

But, do understand that pro wrestling has had a public image problem the last few years. So, you can understand WWE preferring the Rock and Trish to the trainwrecks.

As this is a Women in Wrestling forum, I'd guess that people who post here are kind of fond of them. Now, who gives women's wrestling, especially WWE's, better PR? This famous former Champion...

Note the WWE Women's Championship belt being used to promote health, fitness, and well being to kids. That's exactly the sort of thing WWE should be associating itself with.

If Trish wasn't out there in the public eye doing her thing, the face of women's wrestling for the public would be, soley, Chyna being a trainwreck, getting rushed to the hospital after another OD, and promoting her hardcore porn vids.

So, having her pop in every now and then is good for the company's image, good for the image of women wrestlers as a whole, and good for her to promote her brand as well as theirs. Sorry, but I'm not seeing the bad, here. If you don't think image is important to the company, why do you think their top guys are Cena and Punk? Answer: Neither will pull a Jeff Hardy or Kurt Angle on you.

Trish is supporting the DoD because she always has. She was publicly calling for Beth and Nattie to be pushed before Punk was. She's always wanted to work with Nattie, and vice versa.

That was a kid that showed up at one of her Vancouver appearances on Saturday.

I dont HATE trish I just Hate that fact that she forgot where she came from a model turn wrestler.Kelly and Eve are both fighting beth and natayla to prove that models can turn into wrestlers and what did trish do she ends up being on DOD Side thats messed up on her part because she was one one of them and she should not forget that or atleast admit it like kelly and eve did.Its okay to have be a postergirl for wwe's past but it dosent always have to be her all the time it would be nice to see torrie,stacy,or lita return and not always her.She can be on the top 10 list of divas but not always number 1 at everythin,she can be on the cover of past diva mags or dvds put dosent have to be on the front of everything.

Again, she was talking up Beth and Nattie LONG before the current storyline. She was calling for them to be pushed beck when LAYCOOL were the main heels. And, she had nothing but good things to say about LayCool. She hasn't said anything bad about any of the girls, unless you consider she and Lita saying they all need their own distinct looks and characters to be horrible. Beth and Nattie happen to be her favorites of the current Divas. She's entitled to her opinion of who is entertaining her the most as a wrestling fan.

Also, Beth's Pin-Up Strong thing has nothing to do with starting as a model, dancer, roadie, whatever. Trish and Victoria pretty much embody the concept that you don't have to be superskinny to be beautiful. If you don't have the genetics to be Kelly Kelly, you're not a Loser at Life. You can still be Pin-Up Strong. 1950s Moolah would be another good example of the concept. Hence, the roller derby inspired outfits of late. And, if Daizee Haze had embraced that line of thought, maybe Shimmer wouldn't be in their current crisis regarding their Tag Team Championship.

She and Lita were saying a lot about the state of the Division, last year. Funny how so many people say the same things, but when it's former Champions or an article on the company's website, people get their knickers in a twist.

Should Trish and Lita have made their suggestions on how to improve the Division? Who would know better than those two about how to get it over?

OK, fine, I put the scary Chyna pic in a spoiler tag. Kind of kills the shock and horror I was going for, though. Just consider yourself lucky I didn't post that Tom Green Show appearance where she sings. It's enough to make you miss Jillian Hall's vocals. In fact, I wonder if Chyna's attempt at a singing career is what inspired Jillian's gimmick.
