Favorite Incarnation of the Four Horsemen

The 4 Horsemen are one of the biggest, legendary stables in the history
of professional wrestling. First forming in 1986 in the NWA, consisting
of Ric Flair, Ole and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard (along with
manager J.J. Dillon), the group was extremely successful, holding most
if not all of the titles at the time. It then continued on in WCW,
adding stars such as Lex Luger, Barry Windham, Sting and Sid Vicious
(Sting and Vicious were in the first Face incarnation of the stable). It
eventually kicked Sting out and turned heel, adding Windham back in to
bring the stable full circle. As time went on, it included stars such as
Chris Benoit, Brian Pillman (whom both feuded with Kevin Sullivan and
the Faces of Fear), Dean Malenko and Mongo McMichael. During the feud
with the nWo, Ric Flair had asked Curt Hennig to join, but ended up
turning his back on the group, concidently Hennig was inheriting Arn
Anderson's "spot". All in all, the Four Horsemen will always be looked
at as the tier stable in wrestling, with stables such as Evolution and
Fortune paying homage to the legendary group.
