It is telling that a Diva who's been retired for five years gets more magazine covers in 2011 than all the current Divas combined. It's one thing to say that it's a different era so it's not fair to compare crowd response and popularity of the Golden Era Divas to the current ones. But, shouldn't the current crop be more marketabe than the long retired Divas now? You'd think that would tell WWE something about their current marketing plan for the Divas.

So strange that 2001-06 is actually called the Golden Era of Divas. It makes it seem like so long ago...

ANYWAY...

Good interview, covering some things that most people don't know about, today, like how she got into the business as a host of Live Audio Wrestling, leading to the WWF and WCW both trying to sign her. Liked how she couldn't manage her usual diplomacy when the subject of WWE releasing Mickie James came up, calling it a "WTF moment."

Liked the discussion on how she likes to brand everything, and why she designed the Stratusphere logo that way. I didn't know she named the Molly-Go-Round as part of her fondness for branding.
