| From a non-scripted standpoint, is long reigns with lots of title defences really the way that a championship builds itself up? Wouldn't the title look more credible if people were winning it left right and center unpredictably, one week after it was first won rather than someone dominating the division showing that there are no worthy people? | |

| It depends.
For example, they've been overdoing it with the WWE Championship, lately. How many title changes have we had the last few months? They're just padding Cena's record so he'll break Flair's.

| Too much of anything isn't a good thing. Having someone hold onto a championship for a billion years isn't exciting. But, having the championship go from who to who like some cheap corner prostitute... that's not cool. | |

| I like a variety of lengths but mostly around 3-6 months should be the average.
Of course there will be the 1 month and 6+ month reigns but I would hope the < 1 month reigns are mostly due to an unfortunate injury and not just crappy booking like what usually happens...
But I have to say as much as I like long[er] reigns after a while I want someone new to win so it freshens up the title picture. | |

| i think title reigns should be mixtures. but i do hate sometimes when you have a person win a title only to lose it a few days later on to win it back 2 weeks later...like the shit with Christian and Orton aswell as Rey, Cena and Del Rio | |
