| PWInsider is reporting on their hotline today that as speculated, Mark Henry squashing Great Khali on Smackdown was intended to write Khali out of the company. He's going to be heading back to India to pursue a career in film, and his pro wrestling career has come to an end.

| Nah, I won't miss him. Sure, he wasn't that good of a pro wrestler, but he just like many others... they could have given him some sort of role where he'd be doing something.
It's for this reason I can appreciate what they're doing with David Otunga. I'm not a fan. Hell, I think the guy sucks. But making him an advisor as a former lawyer (or law student) is cool in the sense that whenever I see him now, I know he's a part of a storyline, not making a random appearance to put over someone. | |

| well i unlike a lot understand reasons as to why big guys can suck. the lack of movement due to size is a big factor. I thought he was great as a monster heel, but since turning face it totally ruined him
i wont miss him much. but it woulda been nice to see him get one last push at a title as a monster heel...or even given hiim and Jinder a tag title reign | |

| ^ I thought they were pushing them to the tag belts as well but then they just broke them up like 2 months after putting them together as heels..
Now Jinder has shit to do really and I can easily see him being released as well.
He wasn't a horrible wrestler imo but he didn't get much reaction; and that is pretty much necessary.. | |
