'Ringer', 'Secret Circle,' 'Hart of Dixie' Get Full Seasons From CM

SMG is going the distance!

The CW just gave Ringer a full-season order, sources say. The move comes on the heels of Ringer moving up a tick in the ratings Tuesday night for the first time, delivering 1.7 million viewers and a 0.8 in the adult demo. We’re also hearing the Ringer season finale will reveal Gellar’s character is a triplet.*

Ringer is the first new fall drama to score its “back nine” episodes. Fox’s New Girl, NBC’s Up All Night and Whitney, and CBS’ 2 Broke Girls have also landed full-season orders so far. Keep up with all the latest fall TV breaking news, follow me on Twitter here.

The CW just gave full-season orders to The Secret Circle and Hart of Dixie, meaning all three of the network’s new dramas will get 22 episodes (the network picked up Ringer a couple hours ago).

None of the shows have given The CW a new breakout hit. Of the two just picked up, Circle has fared better: With top-rated Vampire Diaries as a lead-in, Britt Robertson’s Circle has averaged 2.7 million viewers and a 1.2 rating, while Rachel Bilson’s Hart has averaged 1.8 million viewers and a 0.8. Here’s CW president Mark Pedowitz with his thoughts:

“We believe in the creative strength of these dramas, and by giving them back nine orders we can give our audience the chance to enjoy complete seasons of all three of them. With compelling storylines, engaging characters and tremendous buzz, we firmly believe that Hart of Dixie, Ringer and The Secret Circle can become signature series for The CW, the kind of top-notch shows that are synonymous with our brand.”

The CW tends to develop a handful of dramas each year, pick a few to put on the air and then — unless the ratings utterly tank — stick with them for at least one season (the network is more aggressive about cutting reality shows, it cancelled H8R last week).

But this makes me very happy!

I really like Ringer and The Secret Circle is one of my new shows as well.

Question is....who will get cut?

My prediction Hart of Dixie and FINALLY 90210 will be put to rest. Next Season is Gossip Girl, that shit has run its course

Dixie doesn't even get good ratings, 90210 is also lingering about, and I heard Blake Livey wants to get off of Gossip Girl to be the teenage Carrie Bradshaw in a new Sex In The City tv show that is rumored to be in development. So if that happens then isn't she like one of the biggest characters on the show so losing her won't help.
