|  http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/Other_News_4/article_54449.shtmlFormer WWE and TNA wrestler Travis Tomko was released from jail on Thursday, more than one week after being arrested on a robbery charge in Florida.Tomko, who allegedly robbed a CVS pharmacy of Oxycodone on October 10, posted $7,500 bail and left St. Johns County Jail. He will now enter a rehab program, according to his attorney, that will apparently be funded by WWE.“Mr. Tomko realizes he is struggling with an addiction and with the support of his family and the WWE, he is voluntarily checking himself into an undisclosed treatment facility to receive the help he needs for a successful recovery," said James McCune of McCune Law.The St. Augustine Record newspaper noted in a report, " Six percent of former WWE talent have gotten help through the (Wellness) program since it began in 2007."McCune added, “Mr. Tomko wishes to put this incident behind him and move forward and lead a healthy and productive life. He and his family ask for privacy during these difficult times.”The incident included Tomko allegedly holding up a CVS pharmacist for Oxycodone, then attempting to ingest the painkiller at two nearby restaurants. Police found him with needle marks and blood on his arms and he reportedly admitted to an addiction problem. | |
