| When WWE diva Maryse was released last week, it came as a surprise to many backstage according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Reports claim that her release came courtesy of the WWE but that Maryse was ready to move on. She is said to be looking to continue in the entertainment industry, possibly going back to doing modeling and the possibility of posing for playboy has been considered. WWE didn't have the fear of Maryse going to TNA, so felt no need to keep her under contract when it was obvious to both parties that they were ready to move on.
Prior to being released, there were reportedly plans for her to start an angle with Hornswoggle who would become obsessed with her.
Maryse is still dating WWE superstar The Miz. | |
