Helluva performance by Fox’s Terra Nova on Monday: The dino drama (recap here) was up 24 percent in the adults 18-49 demo (2.6 rating/6 share) and 17 percent in total viewers (7.6 million) versus last week, according to early results. It also posted its highest-ever rating in male teens (2.7/9) — assuming you care about what those little buggers are watching on broadcast TV. Anyway, this is all good news for the freshman series, which has yet to learn whether it’ll be back for a second season. (That decision will come around upfronts time this May).

House also had a good night — up 8 percent in adults (2.7/6) and 14 percent in total viewers (7.5 million). Still, Fox only ranked third for the night in adults 18-49 (2.7/6). The winner, as usual, was CBS (4.0/10), which won every half hour in the demo thanks to its winning comedy block of newbies and oldies. Nice little performance, by the way, for 2 Broke Girls: it earned a 4.5/11 and 11.3 million viewers, up 5 percent, to become the second highest rated comedy on CBS after Two and a Half Men (5.1/12 and 14.5 million, up 9 percent). Hawaii Five-0 was flat versus last week (3.0/8, 9.9 million).

On ABC, Dancing With the Stars posted a 3.3/8, up 18 percent from last week’s series performance show low. It averaged 18 million. Castle, however, got a 2.5/6, down 7 percent from last week, and 11.2 million viewers.

As for NBC, I see that The Sing-Off earned a 1.4/3 and 4.2 million and tied as its series low, while Rock Center with Brian Williams was flat with a 1.0/3 and 3.5 million. You see blah-blah-blah-more-low-ratings-for-NBC-blah-blah-blah. Somebody, make it stop!

Bottom line: ABC was first in viewers with 15.7 million, followed by CBS (11.3 million), Fox (7.6 million), NBC (3.9 million), Univision (3.1 million), and CW (1.3 million).
