Thanks for posting this match I loved it!.I miss Masked Jillian,Dumb Ass Maria,Playboy Candice,MNM Melina,Crazy Mickie,and Trish and Christy!!

Back then, they put some effort into Diva battle royals, actually booking them instead of the modern "Get out in the first minute" approach. Everybody gets a little bit, and characters are part of the story being told.

My favorite bit was Maria. Lawler was right: She did have a good strategy. But after she eliminates Victoria, she gets cocky and trys to take on Trish and Melina at once. Loved Trish's and Melina's reactions to that, being all "WTF? Wait up!"

Oh, and nice little homage from Trish, doing Eddie's shake during her entrance.

I also liked when maria blew a kiss and did the the cross thing to eddies car.I was surprised Mickie was the first one eliminated.I wonder though if this battle royal never took place then how was we gonna get melina vs trish at SS?

Well, the whole Raw vs Smackdown storyline was the main one, at the time. So, the original plans for that Raw might have involved Melina, Jillian, and Christy there to progress that storyline, setting up the Trish-Melina feud.
