The Fly Sequel Updates

So, what’s the deal with Cronenberg’s sequel? Not so good unfortunately.
According to Indie Wire, Fox wasn’t too keen on Cronenberg’s take in
which he mentioned;

“I wrote a script and at the moment Fox is not wanting to do the project.”

I don’t see the need of a sequel, in fact I hated the original sequel,
it just wasn’t for me. But, if another sequel/remake was to be made I
would much rather have Cronenberg behind that sucker instead of some
studio who just doesn’t do it justice. Much like the Nightmare on Elm
Street remake, but, that’s just my opinion.
