Report: Beth and Natalya Getting a New Partner?

As fans will have seen in recent weeks, former NXT winner Kaitlyn has been showing off a new attitude and even ditched her Chickbusters tag team partner, AJ, following their tag team loss to Beth Phoenix and Natalya on SmackDown last week.

According to the Wrestling Observer, there has been talk of adding Kaitlyn to the Divas of Doom Sisters of Salvation team with the Divas Champion and third generation Diva.

Thoughts: Kaitlyn certainly has the look to fit in with Beth and Nattie, however, isn’t as accomplished in the ring. Storyline wise, perhaps they could take her under their wing as someone they see potential in? It’d make sense to add a third Diva to the group since they’re currently feuding with Alicia, Kelly & Eve.

I like this idea and really did want it from the beginning. Kaitlyn could easily fit in and could rub off on her.

To be honest I think Kaitlyn was better off with AJ. I loved her character as was unique fir a face diva and the rapport between them was great. They genuinely felt like friends out there rather than the boring Kelly/Eve duo

She has the look to fit in with the so-called Salvation Sisters, which is athletic and muscular. It will only work imo if she wrestles on a limited basis. She'll need to be someone managing and taking some bumps.

A part of her new attitude which isn't mention is how she dissed Hornswaggle on Smackdown Tuesday night. THAT was pretty funny.

NOOO kaitlyn, SUCKSS, she cannot wrestle. Tamina should join, hell it wold make much more sense, kaitlyn is a model turned wrestler too, totally defeats the whole storyline's purpose. She has no in ring skills yet at all, she\'s boring, shouldnt have won nxt either. Just wow, wwe fucking up again. What an insult to other talented divas, like tamina who could have sit this role.

Actually, since the DoD have been invoking Trish since they started this thing (calling her and Lita "the original Pin-Up Strong"), and Trish has been supporting them, a past in fitness modeling obviously isn't an issue. They'd invoke Victoria, too, if she wasn't with another company. It's not about Wrestler vs Model, and never has been.

Pin-Up Strong is about the hybrids, the types who were the center of the Golden Age of Divas. Kaitlyn even uses the term "hybrid" to describe herself. It's about those girls who can dominate in ring and, right after they've done that, do this...

That's why I don't get why people think Beth is betraying her gimmick. That's always been her gimmick: The Glamazon, "the perfect combination of strength and beauty." It's Trish, Lita, & Victoria rather than Molly, Jazz, & Kharma.

The DoD thing is about putting the focus back on the types that dominated when the Divas were most popular and marketable, when they were selling all those videos, magazines, and calendars year after year. Of course, I wonder why wanting the Divas to be able to sell tons of merchadise is a heel thing. Shouldn't the company want to make more money?

The Knockouts are bult around that type. Note the current main feud: Mickie vs Gail, hybrid vs hybrid.

As for Kaitlyn, she's progressed really nicely for someone who's only been doing this for a YEAR. Who looked more convincing holding her own against Beth & Nattie, slugging it out with them, powering out of their moves, Kaitlyn or Kelly?

She can learn a lot under the wings of those two (She especially looks up to Beth), the same was Molly took Trish and Gail under her wing, years ago.
