New Jericho or Old Jericho?

Which one do you prefer? 99-04 Jericho or the new one we have now? Don't get me wrong I love Y2J but its like he is "limited" with his promos. He used to say all kinds of shit and the crowd would respond to it. Now its just a whiney Jericho. Remember his epic promos against Steph? LOL!

old jericho was as entertianing as the rock. new jericho needs to wrestle with some pants on. and why don't he use the Lion-tamer instead of the boston-crab?

pfft...jericho talks more then anyone and his voice annoys me as much as swagger....and NO heel i know talks more then him....he has like a 5-10 minute segement EACH fucking week on Raw...they should assign that time slot to something worth watching and listening to....a bloody match

I liked old better, even when he was a heel with Christian, he was better.

I think the old and new are great! The old Jericho started to become a little stale, and you could tell when he returned. But his promos with Steph were hilarious!

But this new gimmick he has is great! I think he plays the heel really well. he should have his own heel stable too!

Thats one of Jericho's assets, his ability to work the mic. His promos always come out wonderful. Natural actor he is

woahhh.im not saying he isnt a good heel...and i know he can talk for 15 minutes without botching....BUT the only thing from the statement i dont like is the 15 minutes part.....i want to see wrestling not near enough a quarter of the show bein about him talking about how the fans are hypocrits, and he should be world champ....i dont mind 5-10 mins here and there not 10-15 every week...of the same thing...it gets repetitive and boring

Eh, I see where you're coming from. But if they had to give 10-15 minutes a week to anyone, I'm glad it's Jericho. JBL would also be fine with me, both have great mic skills and know how to get heat.

So he can't cut a promo but Cena,Orton,JBL,HBK can?

Pretty unfair if you ask me. I'd watch Jericho talk then those idiots. I mean all of them combined take about 45 minutes of the show with there promos.

Well Jericho's incoherent rants began when he entered his high-profile, unforgettable feud with HBK, that eventually led him into the World Heavyweight Championship. His long promos continued into his feud with Cena, where he would lose the World Heavyweight Title and enter an angle with none other than Stephanie McMahon. All of these were the main storylines at the time, so if it's OK for Orton to cut long promos, so long as he's in the main storylines, why can't Jericho?

I like them both. Old Jericho, and new Jericho, are both interesting gimmicks. I don't mind seeing either. Jericho, needs to put the full tights on again though.

If I’m being honest, that was Jericho at his finest.. I loved his partnership with Stephanie McMahon, the way he bragged about defeating both The Rock and Austin on the same night was classic.
