Even before this year's box office hit sequel, The Hangover Part II, opened, director Todd Phillips was announcing that a third Wolf Pack adventure would both happen and be planned as an end to the franchise.

"Obviously we always envisioned it as a trilogy," he said back in May, "The third would be very much a finale and an ending... As far as where it takes place, I'm very open."

Today, it looks like we might have the answer to that location question, straight from one of the series' leads, Bradley Cooper. He appeared tonight on the BBC's The Graham Norton Show and explained the following (via Bleeding Cool):

"I think that we adhered to the formula in the second one, for those who’ve seen it, and the third one, I think, which would close the whole trilogy… I think it'll take place in Los Angeles and maybe not adhere to the structure. It might be different."

Though no dates have officially been announced (and even the title itself is tentative), The Hangover Part III could go into production as early as next year for a 2013 release. Cooper added, "I hope we're gonna start shooting in September. I know that Todd Phillips is working on the script."

In addition to Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are definitely set to return.
