Update on the Royal Rumble winner, more

According to Dave Meltzer, after discussing Randy Orton winning the Royal Rumble, WWE creative talked about having someone else win it this week. Chris Jericho is in the running to win the Rumble main event since he’s likely going to be challenging CM Punk for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 28.

Matches booked but not yet announced for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view include John Cena vs. Kane and Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title in a three-way. At one point, there was talk of doing Cody Rhodes vs. Dustin Rhodes.

I think they'd be better off waiting till next month for Rhodes vs Rhodes.

I thin Trent Barretta should win the rumble in honesty. the guy is the future of the WWE.

lol it was a joke, but in all honesty, I want a REAL shocking win this year, not something obvious, like Orton or Jericho.. just please WWE, make it happen

I expect Jericho to win, I even predicted it before I saw this.

The best two potential winners though, are Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler.

Or Sheamus or Wade Barrett come to think of it. Although Sheamus is a much better choice than Barrett in my opinion.

I prefer Wade Barrett or Ziggler.

I like Jericho, but I've had more than enough of the same guys in the WM Main events over the last decade.

Orton's injury leaves him as a question mark. You don't need him, Cena, Jericho in a main event to make WM worth watching.

we dont need Orton in the main event, PERIOD. he was just the world champion over the fucking summer, enoughs enough. also, Zigglers in the WWE title match, he wont be in the Rumble like last year

Dolph can still be in the rumble after he loses his match

its a 30 man this year, so there wont be room for him to jump back in like last year

Ziggler can be in the Royal Rumble. It was announced thay just because a Superstar already has a match doesn't mean they can't be in the Rumble. Very likely we'll see him pull double duty methinks.

Kane would be a brilliant choice for the Royal Rumble, after 15 Royal Rumbles its about time he won one. I doubt it would happen though.
